Survival of the Fittest contestant Tia Latham revealed she ended up in hospital on Boxing Day following a desperate bid to end her own life after feeling "neglected" by ITV.
The reality star told the Daily Star in January earlier this year about how her mental health was "left in tatters" after her stint on the matchmaking show - which was hosted by Laura Whitmore.
Tia also said she had received "mind-altering" medication from a doctor she was referred to by the channel.
At the time of her claim, Tia said she was bombarded with comments from trolls and even targeted by thugs who chased her with a metal pole and her BMW even got "smashed up".
She confessed the channel "didn't make arrangements" to "protect my mental health".
An ITV spokesman said: "We would never comment on individuals' medical treatment but we provide ongoing psychological and medical support to contributors where requested and where appropriate.
"Any medical referrals or prescriptions are made by an independent, third party doctor.
"We are in touch with Tia and will continue to support her."
Tia claims ITV let her use its "£400 an hour" therapist but says it wasn't "enough".
The star said she was the first transgender person to appear in one of their reality shows, but there wasn't enough put in place to protect her.
Tia confessed she had "nothing but misery" after leaving.
On Boxing Day, a broken Tia was rushed to hospital after "everything got too much" and she attempted to take her own life.
Since her heartbreaking suicide attempt, Tia said: "ITV keep having too many suicides after contestants have been on their shows.
"I almost became the third victim."
ITV have been under fire since 2018 after two stars killed themselves following their appearances on the channel's shows.
Love Island stars Sophie Gradon and Mike Thalassitis were found in their inquests to have taken their own lives.
While news also broke in May The Jeremy Kyle Show guest Steve Dymond, 63, was found dead in his home after telling a friend he was "fearing repercussions of show".
