Property specialist Graham + Sibbald has hired former Shepherd Chartered Surveyors partner Chris Hunter as a director.
He joins the firm's residential team in Edinburgh, working with partner Kevin Murchie and fellow directors Graeme Boyd and Fergus Mair.
Hunter, who had been with Shepherd for almost 10 years, will focus on residential property surveys, including home reports, mortgage valuations, Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and expert witness reports.

He is a University of Aberdeen graduate who went to school in Edinburgh and is an organiser of the Edinburgh 10s rugby tournament.
Graham + Sibbald, with offices including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen, Stirling and Inverness, is on track for record revenues this year. Clients include Scotland House in London and Brussels, Lothian Buses in Edinburgh.
