Survey: Tell us your thoughts about homeschooling and when schools should reopen

Lockdown in Scotland is set to continue until at least the the middle of February and the question on everyone's lips is - when will schools reopen?

Millions of parents across the country have struggled with homeschooling their kids this lockdown, with many working from home and juggling full-time jobs.

The education secretary John Swinney has faced further questions on the continued closure of classrooms from MSPs, with some claiming too many pupils are being "left behind".

The SNP minister confirmed during a virtual covid briefing this week that the lockdown in Scotland will continue until the middle of February – as previously announced - and said he had “cautious confidence” the restrictions were having an impact.

But opposition parties - and parents - are concerned children are already paying a price for keeping the majority of classrooms shut.

With that in mind, Glasgow Live has launched a survey to ask our readers for your views on the issue and how you're coping with homeschooling.

How do you think your school is managing with remote learning? Are you keen to get your kids back to school as soon as possible?

Do you feel your child is progressing well from home or has it had an impact on your family's mental health?

Let us know your thoughts in the survey below or if you can't see it , click here.
