Leeds United fans consider Manchester United to be their main rivals - but the same level of rivalry doesn’t flow the other way down the M62.
Some 82% of Leeds fans consider Manchester United to be one of their top five rivals, according to a survey run by LeedsLive .
That’s a higher percentage than for any other club in the country.
However, only 38% of Manchester United fans felt the same way when the same survey was run in the Manchester Evening News.
They instead consider Liverpool (88%), Manchester City (66%) and Chelsea (43%) more important, with Leeds United finishing in fourth place.
Leeds United fans picked Chelsea as their next most disliked club.
Some 43% of United fans picked the London club as a rival.
They’re followed by Millwall with 41%, Derby with 32% and Huddersfield with 29%.
When the Huddersfield Examiner ran the survey, some 78% of Terriers fans picked Leeds as their rivals - more than any other club.
It’s a similar story in the Hull Daily Mail, with 77% of Tigers fans saying they dislike Leeds, which was the most for any club.
Only 3% of Leeds fans surveyed picked Hull.
