Our beloved Coronation Street turned 60 years old in December, and it doesn't look its age.
The iconic soap, which has fans across the globe as far flung as Canada and New Zealand, was launched on 9 December 1960 inspired by the families living in the terraces of Salford, and it's still going strong with famous faces that have become part of the furniture.
Now that we've launched our first ever Coronation Street newsletter to celebrate all things Weatherfield, we'd like you to have your say.
Coronation Street is the most iconic road in British television and the world's longest running soap opera with a host of famous faces clamouring to make a guest appearance over the years including Bolton comic Peter Kay, Status Quo and Prince Charles.

Those famous cobbles have survived a tram and a train crash, a sinkhole and a threat of demolition and killers including Richard Hillman, Pat Phelan and Tony Gordon, not forgetting Tracy Barlow.
Many of its cast members were born nearby and one Corrie icon, William Roache, has his own record as the longest-serving TV soap star in the world after making his debut in the very first episode as Ken Barlow.
