Surveillance Video Provides Better Picture Of Utah State, Nevada Postgame Blowup

There is even more info to the now infamous blowup after Utah State’s upset win over Nevada. One thing we know now is that Aggies fans were not involved in this incident.
The Mountain West released a statement saying the excited court-storming Aggie fans played no part in the Wolf Pack players behavior in the hallways within the Spectrum.
After a thorough investigation into the circumstances of Saturday night’s incident, which included a review of numerous video clips from various sources and the collection of written statements from multiple individuals, the Mountain West has concluded the situation was not caused by the court rush. There was a postgame management plan in place and it was executed successfully.
Rather, inappropriate conduct by individuals from both programs in the postgame handshake line and subsequently in the locker room areas created the unfortunate circumstances.
Now there is more video evidence to show what happened, well sort of. An open records request led to the surveillance videos being released, but there is no sound for what happened as these videos take place a bit before the reporters who caught in on video started filming.
These videos show the same incident but from the different ends of the hallway, again there is no sound.
These are just over eight minutes each and it shows players leaving the game in a fairly typical fashion and there is Jordan Caroline at the end upset with his jersey over his head after the defeat.
Later in the video at the 3:51 mark, Caroline is seen racing out of the visitor locker room and is trying to be held back by a pair of Wolf Pack teammates.
Stadium’s Jeff Goodman has a source who relayed what happened in the handshake line that causes the Nevada players to get so upset, and it was from an Aggie coach who refused to shake hands. Then that same coach said something again.
“It escalated from there,” Goodman said. “When Jordan Caroline and some of the Nevada coaches went out to the tunnel in the same area where Utah State was, that same Utah State assistant yelled something — not racial — just yelled something with an expletive about not shaking their hands. Well, Jordan Caroline was already heated, he had a bad game, they lost that game and the crowd erupted on to the court … he reacted in a flammable way.”
As for the court storming and the handshake line, there is a moment (in the bottom of the video) where it appears that a Utah State coach stops in the line and says something toward someone with Nevada but it is unclear what was said.
That exchange is at the 17 second mark and you may have to view a few times to see an arm being extended trying to separate the two sides. It is unclear of exactly who those are from Nevada or Utah State who get into for a few seconds.
