Surrogate mum gives birth 4 times in 6 years - but never wants a baby of her own

A ‘super-surrogate’ addicted to being pregnant has given birth to four babies for childless couples in the past six years.

Annie Peverelle, 40, has never had the desire to start a family of her own - but is hooked on carrying a child.

The married admin worker admits she gets a buzz from being pregnant and feeling the baby’s kicks.

She gave birth to her fourth baby in January for Amanda and Jason McKeane, four years after delivering their first daughter.

Annie also helped two other couples have children by carrying their babies for nine months.

She said: “I adore being pregnant, it's addictive.

“I have never had morning sickness and the last three labours were no longer than two hours and very easy.

“I love the feeling of growing a new life for someone who can’t do it themselves and the thrill of seeing a positive pregnancy test.

“I just feel really good whilst carrying a baby and I am fortunate enough to have no cravings or sickness.

“Seeing that first scan and feeling the little kicks are just amazing.”

Emmerdale fans predict sinister surrogacy twist after worrying clue

Annie meets hopeful parents at ‘surrogacy socials’ organised by the charity Surrogacy UK.

She is now planning to help give one final couple a sibling before she stops being a surrogate all together.

Annie explained: “I was desperate to experience pregnancy, but I didn't want to have a baby.

“A colleague suggested surrogacy as a joke but I couldn’t get it off my mind, so I researched it.

“Before I knew it, I was at a social event with other surrogates and parents-to-be.

“I have never looked back since; it isn’t just the helping people that I love but also the friendships I have formed.”

Annie, from Rugby, Warks, has the full support of her 49-year-old husband Steve.

She added: “He has always been supportive and admires what I do. I wouldn’t have my life any other way.”
