A town best known for its smoking stacks and industrial might has been named as the number one property hot spot in Britain last year.
In Port Talbot, Wales, house prices rose by an eye watering 7.5% during 2019 - close to five times the national average.
The southern Wales town is probably most famous for the Port Talbot Steelworks, which is one of the biggest in the world.
Given the size of the works and the sheer number of people who work there, property prices are inextricably linked to its fortunes.
While doubt has hung over it for years, it remains open after numerous changes of ownership.
Whether it is due to the presence of such a resilient source of jobs, a beautiful beach front or famous sons including Sir Anthony Hopkins, Richard Burton and Michael Sheen, Port Talbot is much sought after.
There is also the added bonus of price.
In Port Talbot the average home was sold for just £120,896 last month.
A semi-detached house with three bedrooms and one bathroom in the town's Victoria Road is currently on the market for £123,000.
By way of contrast, the average house in London cost £657,770.
Wales had a particularly strong year when it came to house price growth.
Four of the towns in the top ten list compiled by Zoopla are in Wales, with Cwmbran, Merthyr Tydfil and Neath coming in second, seventh and tenth respectively.
Leigh in Wigan, Cannock and Walsall in the West Midlands, Edinburgh, Bootle in Merseyside and Salford in Greater Manchester also make the list.
