LUCKNOW: Failures are an essential part of any success journey and in the case of a sports star, so are injuries, said cricketer Suresh Raina during an interaction here on Tuesday.
Sharing his life experiences involving both hope and despair, Raina went down the memory lane with his experiences and success mantra.
He was on a visit to Lucknow and talking to staff of State Bank of India at its head office in Hazratganj.
Raina also showcased his autobiography, ‘Believe: What Life and Cricket Taught Me’, and spoke about the special moments of his life and the challenges as a young cricketer.
He said his journey has been a compilation of various colours of life and explained how he reached the top. Raina also spoke on his long association with the SBI.
Chief general manager, SBI (Lucknow circle) Ajay Kumar Khanna said, “Suresh Raina has been an exemplary performer in the game of cricket and gave his best in all formats of cricket. Similarly, SBI too has been performing its best for customers.” He said Raina also sought details of SBI’s ‘Sakhi’ mentorship programme and about the vaccination of staff.
General managers DS Rawat, AD Ratna Teja and Alok Kumar Sinha, among others, were present.
