'Surely not' - Arsenal fans noticed what happened with Bukayo Saka before kick-off vs Brighton

It is a momentous day in the Premier League today.

For the first time ever a 3pm kick-off on a Saturday will be screened live on television.

And Arsenal will be taking part in that little piece of history as they take on Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium on the south coast.

According to BT Sport, there may be another slice of history for one player as well - Bukayo Saka.

With team news coming out an hour before kick-off, as planned, the headline news might have been that Mesut Ozil had been left out of the starting XI once again by Mikel Arteta.

But there was another thing making headlines with the Arsenal fans - Saka was named as captain!

The graphic on BT Sport showing the teams during the 1-1 draw between Watford and Leicester City showed Saka with the (c) after his name.

And eagle-eyed Arsenal fans spotted it and went straight on Twitter to have their say about it.

Of course, it was just a mistake from BT Sport.

The 18-year-old has only recently broken into Arteta's first team plans.

Not to mention that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is also on the pitch, and he is the Gunners skipper.
