United got a goal back through second half substitute Donny van de Beek, but two late strikes from Joao Pedro and Emmanuel Dennis sealed the defeat for Solskjaer’s dide.
The defeat leaves United five points behind Liverpool ahead of the Reds’ game against Arsenal at Anfield on Saturday evening.
