It's finally happening: Supreme’s bright red collaboration with Oreo is dropping today.
The cult streetwear brand teamed up with the iconic cookie to create a pack of Supreme-branded ‘double stuf’ Oreos, which are set to be sold online for $3 a pack.
Modelled by blogger Breadface, the Instagrammer famous for smashing her face into loaves of bread, the cookies have already been sold online for an extortionate price.
The collaboration is part of Supreme’s S/S 20 collection and an early drop of the gourmet accessory was reportedly sold for $8 per pack. Or at least they were $8 per pack, until the inevitable Supreme resellers got their hands on them and prices were hiked up to as much as $16,000 on eBay.
Supreme revealed the new drop would be priced at $3 on Instagram, sharing a gallery of pictures of Breadface munching her way through the red cookies.
Breadface confirmed she was the model in question, sharing the same pictures and writing, “me mouth for @supremenewyork OREOs.”
Normally when a new drop Supreme drop happens long queues of diehard fans form outside the brand's stores.
But as the brand confirmed “stores in the US, UK and France are temporarily closed to prevent spread of COVID-19” the cookies will drop online.
The Oreos do not appear to be currently listed on Supreme's website and the brand did not provide the exact timing of the drop.
This is not the first time Supreme has put its stamp on unconventional items.
In 2016, a $30 Supreme-branded brick was swiftly resold for up to $1,000 on eBay.
There was also a Supreme-branded hammer, with one sold out listing on Grailed revealed had been purchased for $1,015.
