Supreme Swarovski release: 25th anniversary colelction launches today

Through its bouji collaborations with the likes of Louis Vuitton and Liberty of London, Supreme has risen from a lowly skating shop to arguably the most famous streetwear brand in the world.

To mark the 25th birthday of its flagship New York store, Supreme has embarked on its most glittering collaboration yet: with Swarovski crystal.

The brand is commemorating the opening of its Lafayette store in April 1994 with a capsule collection of t-shirts and hoodies featuring the classic Supreme rectangle made entirely out of crystals.

This was no mean feat. Each bedazzled t-shirt features 1,161 carefully hand-applied crystals and 1,201 on each hoodie.

The campaign was modelled by Larry Clark, director of the iconic skating film Kids, which propelled Chloë Sevigny to fame in 1995.

The Supreme 25th Anniversary Capsule Collection drops today in the London and worldwide flagship stores as well as online. If you’re planning on queueing up today, be sure to bring some snacks - looks like it’s going to be a long one.
