Supreme Court

New Delhi: Amidst the ongoing voting for the second phase of Lok Sabha elections in the country, the Supreme Court on Friday rejected all pleas for paper ballot voting, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

In a landmark verdict the Apex Court supported voting through EVMs only.

The Supreme Court backed EVM-VVPAT verification and physical deposit of VVPAT slips.

The Top Court further ordered that after voting the EVMs must be kept in safe custody for 45 days.
