Supporters will be able to relive Nottingham Forest's European Cup glory at a celebratory fan park

The City Ground will stage an exclusive fan park on Thursday May 30 to mark the 40th anniversary of Nottingham Forest’s first European Cup triumph.

The event is run in partnership with Nottingham-based artists Art of Football, a company that creates unique pieces of art ranging from t-shirts to canvas pictures, and creates the designs for the Reds' matchday programmes.

Supporters young and old can relive that famous night in Munich with German-food and drink on offer to supporters, whilst a screening of their historic 1-0 victory over Malmo will be available to watch with some of Brian Clough’s Miracle Men in attendance.

It may not have been a final filled with fireworks, but it was certainly a night to remember for those travelling Reds fans with Trevor Francis’ goal on his European debut enough to seal a momentous win.

Under their hero Brian Clough, Forest had won European club football’s biggest prize, knocking out two-time defending champions Liverpool along the way.

To mark the occasion, there are multiple other celebrations on this day, with another taking place at The Garage in Chilwell.

Further information about the event and how to buy tickets will be announced in due course.
