Support in Mind Scotland Stewartry have opened their new resource centre in Castle Douglas.
Former Dundee United and Scotland player Andy McLaren was joined by one of the charity’s longest-serving members, John Crossan, to perform the ribbon cutting at the new facility in Station Yard.
The open day coincided with World Mental Health Day and staff, service users, friends and family were there along with representatives from the Blood Bikes. Project worker, Leanne Latta, said: “It was a brilliant day, it couldn’t have gone any better.
