Buffy The Vampire actress Charisma Carpenter has been receiving messages of support from across the globe after she alleged that Buffy and Angel creator Joss Whedon abused his power on numerous occasions whilst she worked for him.
The American actress, who is of Scots heritage and a Celtic fan, played Cordelia Chase on the hit 1990s show.
She has made headlines in recent days after claiming in a long social media post that Buffy and Angel creator Joss Whedon abused his power on numerous occasions whilst she worked for him.

Charisma alleged that Joss's 'casually cruel' behaviour included threatening to fire her, calling her 'fat' when she was four months pregnant, asking her if she was going to 'keep' her baby, and firing her after she gave birth.
Whedon has yet to comment on her allegations.

Although many Buffy fans will be unaware of Charisma's love for Celtic she has shared social media posts on watching them play, worn their team colours and even shared information about Brendan Rodgers.
Her genealogy page says she is partly Scottish as well as Spanish French and German.
And support for her has been pouring in for her from across the world - including from fellow honorary Scot, presenter Laura Whitmore who is married to Scots comedian and Love Island voice over narrator Iain Stirling.
Laura, who herself is pregnant and expecting her first child early this year, claims she is not surprised about the claims given how toxic some situations can be.
Laura said: "This makes me so angry and so sad... and yet doesn't feel surprising when you look at how toxic some situations can be."

Charisma said she chose to come forward in light of Ray Fisher's allegations that Joss abused his power on the set of 'Justice League,' after Ray went public that he was no longer going to appear as his “Justice League” character of Cyborg in the upcoming movie The Flash.
A number of Charisma's Buffy co-stars have also come out in support of her.
Sarah Michelle Gellar, who played Buffy, posted on Instagram: “While I am proud to have my name associated with Buffy Summers, I don't want to be forever associated with the name Joss Whedon.”
Amber Benson, who played Tara, said on Twitter that “Buffy was a toxic environment.”
Charisma's little-known love for Celtic raises a few eyebrows whenever it crops up on her social media.
Charisma copied her friend Ross McColl into a tweet about Celtic naming Brendan Rodgers as their new manager, with one observant fan responding at the time: "Never did I expect to see the gorgeous girl from buffy tweet a guy from St. Stephens about Celtic manager."

She also posted a picture of herself casually wearing a green and white Celtic scarf during a ballet style pose in March 2016 as she visited the Louvre in Paris.
And in April 2016 when she wrote on Twitter: "Intense game. Pins and needles to the (bitter ) end. #Celtic" in response to a Tweet saying that Ronny Delia told the media: 'It was a rollercoaster of a football game, in the end very down"
