Urgent recall orders have gone out amid listeria and allergy concerns.
The Food Standards Agency has urged people who bought certain chicken wings, cheese and crisps to return them.
The government body has warned that some products containing listeria, which can cause flu-like symptoms such as pain, vomiting, chills and diarrhoea, have been put on supermarket shelves, the Daily Record reports.
In bad cases, the infection can cause serious complications including meningitis, particularly among the elderly and pregnant.
Some crisps and chicken have also been recalled over fears they contain milk and barley, posing a risk for anyone with allergies or intolerances to dairy.
The FSA has urged anyone who has bought the items to visit their nearest supermarket for a full refund or exchange.

Popchips Sea Salt crisps
KP Snacks is recalling Popchips Sea Salt flavour potato snacks because they contain milk, which is not mentioned on the label.
This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.
Due to a packaging error some packs may have been filled with Sour Cream and Onion flavour popchips.

Co-op Hot and Spicy Chicken Wings
Co-op is recalling Co-op Hot and Spicy Chicken Wings because the product contains barley (gluten) which is not mentioned on the label.
This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to barley.

Cahill’s Farm Cheese

Cahill’s Farm Cheese is recalling a number of cheese products because Listeria monocytogenes has been found.
The product recall information notice, (PRIN) has been updated to include additional products and batches and replaces the original PRIN.

Lung Wah Chong jelly
Lung Wah Chong is recalling several Jelly cup products because they may present a choking hazard.
This is because the product can be projected from a cup or capsule in one piece by exerting pressure at the tip.
