Supermarkets across England will be operating reduced hours this weekend as a result of Easter Bank Holiday laws.
Morrisons, Lidl and Aldi have confirmed all stores will be closed on Easter Sunday, as well as rival chain Waitrose, which traditionally closes its doors on public holidays.
Trading laws in England mean large retailers – of more than 280 square metres - cannot trade on Easter Sunday. This is the same law that prohibits trading on Christmas Day.
However, smaller, convenience stores, such as Tesco and Sainsbury’s are allowed to trade to allow customers to pick up essential items.
Tesco Express outlets, for instance, will be open to the public as well as Sainsbury's Local and a handful of smaller Asda stores between 8am and 8pm.

Tesco Extras Superstores and Metro stores will be closed in England, Wales and Northern Ireland on Easter Sunday.
However, Express stores will open at around 7am and close at 8pm – you can check local hours online using the store's locator tool.
The vast majority of Sainsbury's Local stores will also be open from 7am to 11pm.
All Sainsbury's stores in Scotland will remain open on Easter Sunday, however, as laws are slightly different in Scotland.
M&S will be closing the majority of its stores on Easter Sunday – with a handful in busy areas to stay open, check details using the store finder tool on the website.
