Supermarket selling veg for 9p - and it's not ASDA, Morrisons or Lidl

Christmas is just days away, which means last-minute shoppers are frantically buying groceries for the perfect festive meal.

And as customers rush to buy all the trimmings - which always includes a lot of vegetables - supermarkets have been slashing the price of festive favorites.

Shoppers can now pick up Brussel sprouts, carrots, parsnips, cabbage, swede and potatoes for 9p a bag in Aldi.

Promoting the deal, an Adli spokesperson said: "9s across the board! We're cutting prices and cutting waste this Christmas. "

While this offer is exceptionally cheap, one supermarket managed to go even lower.

Last week, Iceland slashed the price of potatoes, carrots and sprouts to just 1p per bag.

But this deal was only available online with a special code.

Whereas shoppers in Aldi will be able to walk into any store to get their hands of the cheap offerings.
