Supermarket's bizarre offer to celebrate Liverpool FC winning the Premier League

A supermarket has announced a special offer to celebrate Liverpool FC winning the Premier League.

Last night the Reds finally clinched the title after Man City lost to Chelsea.

Today, Jack’s supermarket, which is part of the Tesco family, announced certain shoppers can enjoy £100 worth of goods from three Liverpool stores - but there’s a big catch.

In order to claim a £100 voucher, you must have one specific thing in common with the Liverpool FC manager Jurgen Klopp - his name.

Jack’s is giving a £100 voucher away to anyone with the name Jurgen and vouchers can be collected from the following stores by July 26, 2020.

● Axis Park, Portal Way, E Lancashire Rd, Liverpool L11 0JA

● 124 County Rd, Lowell St, Liverpool L4 3QW

● Overton St, Edge Hill, Liverpool L7 3HE

Chris Dimaline, Liverpool area manager at Jack’s, said: “Jurgen Klopp is an absolute hero to so many people in Liverpool and we wanted to honour him in a fun and unique way – what could be better than giving a treat to those who are lucky enough to share the great man’s name?!”.

All Jurgens wishing to receive the £100 must bring proof of ID, either a drivers licence or passport, with their name on. Vouchers will then be posted out to Jurgens.

This offer is exclusive to the Liverpool stores.
