A supermarket has recalled a product after failing to label it correctly - with non-pork eaters and those with life-threatening allergies potentially affected.
Sainsbury's 18 mini egg bites are being recalled after allergens egg and mustard were not mentioned on the label.
Both egg and mustard can cause an anaphylaxis for those with a serious allergy and cause stomach problems for those with intolerances.
The label also doesn't mention that the mini bites contain pork.
The packs included in the recall are 186g with a use by date of Tuesday, December 17, and the batch code 7563390.
A Sainsbury's spokesman said: "It has been brought to our attention that some packs of by Sainsbury’s 18 Mini Egg Bites have the incorrect back label which means that egg, mustard and pork are not declared on the ingredients list.
"As a precautionary measure, we are asking customers who have purchased this product from Sainsbury’s to return the product to their nearest Sainsbury’s where they will receive a full refund."
A Food Standard Agency spokesman said: “Sainsbury's is recalling the above product from customers and has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.
“The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its stores.
“These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.”
