An overnight ram-raid of a supermarket in Canberra's inner south was not coronavirus related, police say.

ACT police say a red Toyota sedan plowed into the front doors of the Curtin Coles about 4.10am.
Two people then got out of the car and entered the store, but left a short time later with no stolen property.
A police spokesman said the ram raiders tried to steal cigarettes from the front counter but were unsuccessful.
The ram raiders did not try to steal other items such as toilet paper or hand sanitiser, which has run out in supermarkets across the country due to panic buying over coronavirus fears.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.
