Supermarket hours have already changed significantly as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
The last month has seen 24-hour opening times at Tesco and Aldi be temporarily halted, with other shops operating reduced hours and dedicated hours for NHS staff and vulnerable shoppers.
With the Easter weekend approaching, further revisions will be changing, lasting from Good Friday this week (April 10) through to Easter Monday (April 13).
These are the changes being made across the UK’s biggest supermarket chains.
Tesco
Good Friday
All Extras Superstores and Metro stores will be open 8am - 8pm.
Tesco Express convenience stores will be open usual hours.
Saturday April 11
Tesco Extra Superstores and Metro stores will be open 6am - 10pm.
Tesco Express convenience stores open usual hours.
Easter Sunday
Tesco Extra Superstores and Metro stores are closed in England, Wales and Northern Ireland .
Tesco Extra Superstores and Metro stores in Scotland are open 8am - 8pm.
All Express convenience stores are open usual hours.
Easter Monday
Tesco Extra Superstores and Metro stores in England and Wales are open 8am - 6pm.
Northern Ireland Tesco Extras are open 10am - 7pm.
Scotland's Tesco Extra Superstroes are open 8am - 8pm.

Tuesday April 14
In England, Scotland and Wales , Tesco Extra Superstores and Metro stores are open 6am – 10pm.
Northern Ireland Tesco Extras and Superstores are open 9am - 9pm.
Scotland stores are open as usual.
All Tesco Express convenience stores are open usual hours.
Wednesday April 15
Northern Ireland's Tesco Extras and Superstores open at 6am – 10pm.
Aldi
Aldi stores will be open from 8am - 8pm on Good Friday, Saturday April 11 and Easter Monday (April 13).
All Aldi stores will be closed on Easter Sunday.

Morrisons
Morrisons is continuing with its usual business during the coronavirus crisis of 8am - 8pm. That includes Good Friday, Saturday April 11 and Easter Monday (April 13)
Stores in England and Wales will be closed on Easter Sunday.
Morrisons supermarkets in Scotland will continue to open from 8am - 8pm on Easter Sunday.

Sainsbury's

Regular Sainsbury's superstore opening hours of 8am - 8pm are continuing on Good Friday, Saturday April 11 and Easter Monday (April 13).
Sainsbury's Local convenience stores, often open 7am - 9pm, will continue to be open during those hours, including Easter Sunday.
The supermarket has said some of its stores are open on Easter Sunday. You can check your local branch's opening hours using the store locator.
Asda
Stores on will be open from 8am - 8pm on Good Friday, Saturday April 11 and Easter Monday (April 13).
All Asda stores will be closed on Easter Sunday.

Lidl
Lidl has said selected stores do vary and encourage shoppers to check its store finder.
In England and Wales Good Friday opening hours are 8am - 8pm, or open as usual inside the M25.
All stores will be open as usual on Saturday April 11 and closed on Easter Sunday.
On Easter Monday (April 13) stores will be open 8am - 8pm, or open as usual inside the M25.
Lidl stores in Scotland will be open as usual from Good Friday through to Easter Monday, including Easter Sunday.
