Supermarket giant Morrisons currently offers the cheapest lateral flow tests.
As of April 1, lateral flow tests are no longer free of charge from the government website. This is a part of their "Living with Covid" plan as the UK tries to get back to normality.
Free covid tests are still available for those deemed high risk. This includes NHS staff, patients undergoing covid treatment, over 75-year-olds and over 12-year-olds with weakened immune systems.

Stores on the high street are currently the easiest and most efficient way to obtain a covid test. Lateral flow tests are significantly cheaper than PCRs, but even the cost of lateral flows can vary a lot by retailer.
Morrisons Pharmacy is currently the cheapest option to buy a test, sitting at £1.75 per purchase. Unlike other retailers, they do not offer a multipack option.
Lloyds pharmacy offers tests at £1.89 while a pack of five can be grabbed for £9.29. PCR tests are also available with at-home testing services available at a starting price of £12.99.
Superdrug is more expensive, charging £1.99 per test and £9.79 per five-pack. Competitor Boots is a penny more expensive, coming in at £2.00 and £9.80 respectively.
Tesco offers testing kits across 1,500 of their locations and will rollout online orders from May. Their prices start at £2 per test.
