Superman turns Celtic fan as man of steel actor proudly holds colours aloft

Actor Gianni Capaldi has managed to add the ultimate touch of glamour to the Celtic family by bringing Superman himself on board.

And while the Son of Krypton himself is probably above taking interest in who holds the Scottish Premiership bragging rights, actor Dean Cain has positioned himself behind Neil Lennon's men.

The 54 year-old actor is famous for his role as the man of steel in the 1990s TV show Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman where he starred alongside Terri Hatcher.

Cain was pictured smiling and holding a Celtic banner after he visited Capaldi's house in Los Angeles on a day off from filming.

And presented with a chance to bring Kal-El himself into the Hoops family was too much for the Scottish ex-pat actor to resist.

He took to Twitter to write: "When Superman in the flesh @RealDeanCain visits you on your day off from filming & joins the @CelticFC family as well as my family.

"An absolute gem and a cracking lad & happy to support the @celticfcfoundation charity."
