Superico Edinburgh: unique fusion restaurant snaps up 'best overall' eatery award on OpenTable

An Edinburgh city centre restaurant has topped the charts as booking site OpenTable's best overall eatery in the capital.

Superico Restaurant - which relaunched in July after formerly being known as Hanover 83 - has topped the chart based upon thousands of OpenTable diner reviews.

Truly unique to the capital's (and Scotland's) restaurant scene, the first dining project from former Gleneagles restaurant manager Juan José Castillo Castro has gone from strength to strength since opening in August 2018.

Serving up Chilean food with a Scottish twist, the Hanover Street basement restaurant offers up fusion cuisine delivered as bites and plates to be shared at the table.

Superico Restaurant is currently offering diners the chance to purchase three plates for £14.95 every Wednesday - Sunday from 12pm to 530pm.

Dishes include tempra squid with prawn and chili mayo and spring onions, slow cooked pressed pork belly with merken paste as well as sweet potato croquettes with goats cheese, roasted red peppers and brava sauce.

You can see the full menu and book a table on Superico Restaurant's website via OpenTable.
