Superdrug shoppers are snapping up a budget-friendly primer for its ‘flawless’ finish.
Beauty fans say the primer, by vegan and cruelty-free brand e.l.f, “makes your skin glow” and helps your makeup “last all day”.
According to its product description, e.l.f’s Mint Melt Face Primer, which is priced at £8 for 30ml, “works like glue to grip makeup to ensure it stays put”.
The product has already proven a hit with shoppers at Superdrug, gaining several five-star reviews.
Several shoppers have also compared e.l.f’s primer to high-end brand Milk Makeup’s Hydro Grip Primer, which costs £29 for a 45ml bottle.
On the Superdrug website, one shopper wrote: “Amazing! This primer moisturises and makes your skin glow as well as making your base last all day!”
Another said: “Amazing Primer If you're looking for a budget gripping primer, I'd definitely try this! I couldn't keep justifying the price for the MILK Hydrogrip, now I've found this, I probably won't ever buy another gripping primer. ELF really is killing the beauty game at the moment!”
A third added: “The best gripping primer ever. This had to be the best gripping primer I have used. I have gone to a few different brands and they just do not work. This is a new staple in my makeup kit now so I threw away all my other primers.”
