Supercomputer predicts shock Premier League top four as Manchester United miss out

Chelsea are set to win their first Premier League in five years with Manchester United missing out on a Champions League spot, according to a supercomputer.

A thrilling finale will see promoted Brentford hold off United and finish fourth, four points clear of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer & Co., in their first season in the Premier League.

The supercomputer is said to consider numerous factors such as analytics and data-driven statistics to predict the future outcome of games to be played, and United fans may be in for a shock come May and would surely spell the end for Solskjaer at the helm.

United will certainly look to make a few statements in the coming weeks, as they're set to come up against Leicester, Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal all within the next six weeks.

Currently sitting seventh in the Premier League, Brentford have made a truly terrific start to the season.

Manager Thomas Frank has implemented an attack-minded style of play which has taken the league by storm, beating Arsenal and West Ham and picking up a draw against Liverpool.

The supercomputer believes that Ivan Toney & Co. are only going to go from strength to strength from this point onwards, and will finish on an incredible 74 points - four more than United.

Meanwhile, Manchester City will miss out on the Premier League title and even the runners-up spot as they're predicted to finish a whopping 23 points behind runaway leaders Chelsea.

The BonusCodeBets supercomputer expects Chelsea to win the league by 10 points, ahead of Liverpool and propelled to title contention with their signing of Romelu Lukaku.

A striker was top of Thomas Tuchel's list in the summer, with Erling Haaland the priority option. However, once Borussia Dortmund took any deal for Haaland off the table, Chelsea renewed interest in bringing Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge.

In another surprise, Leicester City, Tottenham and Arsenal are all predicted a finish in the bottom 10 - with the three sides starting their seasons slowly.

Arsenal have impressed as of late, with their young talented players shining through in recent victories, while Spurs started strongly before three back-to-back big losses. Leicester meanwhile have struggled to get their season going.

And in another blow for north west teams, the supercomputer predicts Burnley will be relegated, alongside Southampton and Norwich. Those three teams currently occupy three of the bottom four spots, with Newcastle currently in 19th.
