Supercomputer predicts Premier League results: How Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal get on

There is just over a week remaining in the Premier League season and there is still much to be decided across the board.

Manchester City and Liverpool continue to lock horns in pursuit of the title, while a four-way fight between Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United is taking place in pursuit of the two remaining Champions League spots.

Meanwhile at the bottom of the table, Cardiff City are on the brink of relegation and cannot afford a slip in the final matches of the season if they are to leapfrog Brighton and secure safety - although the picture doesn’t look rosey.

Supercomputer predicts Championship results with bad news for Bristol City, Middlesbrough and Norwich City

A supercomputer developed by the University of Reading has predicted the results of all 10 of the Premier League matches this weekend, with Cardiff backed to lose to Crystal Palace and will suffer relegation, while it is also bad news for Manchester United.

While the Red Devils are tipped to beat a Huddersfield Town side already relegated from the Premier League, top-four rivals Chelsea are also backed to win - which would mean Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s hopes of Champions League football next season are over.

Arsenal and Tottenham are also backed to win, with the result for the latter sealing a top-four finish for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, while Liverpool and Manchester City are also tipped for wins that would see the destination of the title decided on the final weekend.

You can see the full predicted results below.
