Supercomputer predicts Premier League results - and it's bad news for Man Utd

It's very much crunch time as we enter the business end of the Premier League season with each team having just a handful of games left to play.

The title race is tightly poised as Liverpool continue to put pressure on league-leaders Man City , whilst at the other end there is still one team yet to be condemned to relegation.

Not only that, but with Chelsea , Arsenal , Tottenham and Manchester United all battling it out for the two remaining top four spots, there is still plenty to play for.

This weekend could prove incredibly crucial, with some huge clashes taking place.

And if the latest Supercomputer results are anything to go by, it's going to be bad news for Manchester United.

Champions League and Europa League permutations - and what it all means for top four

The University of Reading have developed a model to work out the outcomes of the weekend's fixtures.

And unfortunately for the Red Devils, the computer has predicted they will lose their important match against Everton at Goodison Park.

What's worse for United fans is that top four rivals Arsenal and Chelsea will both record wins against Crystal Palace and Burnley respectively, providing the Supercomputer has guessed right.

One solace for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men is that Tottenham are also predicted to fall to defeat at the hands of Man City, as the defending champions keep their title charge on course.

Liverpool are not letting up without a fight though, and are forecast to record a 2-0 win away at relegation battlers Cardiff .

Whilst that result would still leave the Bluebirds sitting precariously above the Championship trap door, they might be pleased to know that closest rivals for the drop zone Brighton are also tipped to lose on their trip to Wolves .

Above them, Southampton are also projected to come up short against Newcastle , while West Ham , Bournemouth and Watford are all anticipated to earn victories.
