'Supercomputer' predicts outcome of Tottenham vs Newcastle - and it's great news for Pochettino

The Premier League is famed for its unpredictability, it keeps you guessing right until the very end.

After two week's filled with superb goals, ridiculous saves and lots of VAR controversy, England's top flight is gearing up for matchday three this weekend.

Tottenham Hotspur take on relegation-tipped Newcastle United on Sunday.

Spurs are fresh from their VAR controversy and will be hoping for a much quieter week in North London.

Despite an impressive 2-2 draw at the Etihad Stadium, Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping to see a better performance from his side.

On the other side of the coin, it's been a miserable start to life in the North East for Steve Bruce.

The Magpies have two defeats from two to their name and were comfortably beaten by relegation rivals Norwich City last weekend.

BT Sports' 'script', which was well-documented at the start of the season, has attempted to predict every Premier League score this season.

Cutting edge 'machine learning' artificial intelligence, as BT Sport put it, is responsible for the predictions.

This isn't the first time we've seen 'supercomputer' predictions but it does make for an interesting experiment as they look to second guess the entire campaign.

Like most pundits and supporters, Tottenham are being backed for a comprehensive win.

It's been a strong start to the season for Spurs and that is reflected by the Supercomputer, which is tipping a 4-0 triumph for Pochettino and Co.

Harry Kane will be looking to get back amongst the goals and add to his two for the season. He'll be licking his lips at the prospect of taking on Newcastle's porous defence.

Supercomputer predicts: Tottenham 4-0 Newcastle
