'Supercomputer' predicts Norwich vs Chelsea result - and it's superb news for Frank Lampard

The Premier League is famed for its unpredictability, it keeps you guessing right until the very end.

After two week's filled with superb goals, ridiculous saves and lots of VAR controversy, England's top flight is gearing up for matchday three this weekend.

Chelsea are back in action at Norwich City on Saturday lunch-time, still searching for their first win under Frank Lampard.

The Blues were beaten handsomely on the opening day of the season by Manchester United, before drawing 1-1 against Leicester City last Sunday.

Although it was a much-improved display from Lampard's side, they failed to capitalise on their early dominance.

Mason Mount put them 1-0 up before they spurned a host of inviting chances, only for the Foxes to dominate the second half and take home a share of the spoils.

Norwich City, by contrast, are buoyed from their 3-1 win over Newcastle United last weekend.

The Canaries dispatched of Steve Bruce's side thanks to Teemu Pukki's hat-trick. The Finnish attack is already on four for the season.

The Chelsea rearguard will have to be on red alert at Carrow Road, as they bid to avoid an embarrassing defeat to a newly-promoted side.

BT Sports' 'script', which was well-documented at the start of the season, has attempted to predict every Premier League score this season.

Cutting edge 'machine learning' artificial intelligence, as BT Sport put it, is responsible for the predictions.

This isn't the first time we've seen 'supercomputer' predictions but it does make for an interesting experiment as they look to second guess the entire campaign.

Well, as far as Lampard and Chelsea go, it's predicting a great weekend, with the Blues tipped for their first win of the season.

The Supercomputer has them down for a first win and clean sheet of the season, in a 2-0 win.

As we know, football is far from predictable, as the bookmakers show fans up and down the country every week.

However, Lampard will be hoping his side can show their best form and come out with an all-important away triumph.

Supercomputer predicts: Norwich City 0-2 Chelsea
