Supercomputer predicts Manchester United will finish in the top four with Ralf Rangnick

Ralf Rangnick has only overseen two Premier League games but his arrival at Manchester United seems to have influenced the potential course of the club’s season.

The Red Devils currently sit sixth in the table, five points off fourth-placed Arsenal but with two games in hand.

Rangnick has guided United to two wins against Crystal Palace and Norwich since his official unveiling and now, according to The Sun , a ‘supercomputer’ predicts that they will qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Seemingly basing its predictions on bettingexpert.com odds, the supercomputer says United are now said to be the club most likely to join Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool in the top four come the end of the season.

They stand ahead of West Ham, Tottenham and Arsenal at odds of 8/11. The Hammers are 10/3 to land a Champions League position while Tottenham are ahead of Arsenal (5/1) at 4/1.

Pep Guardiola’s City are heavy favourites to defend their Premier League crown at 1/2 with Liverpool (3/1) and Chelsea (6/1) given a slimmer chance of lifting the trophy.

At the other end of the table, Norwich are the favourites to go down at 1/8 with Newcastle (4/6) and Watford (8/11) set to join them.

Burnley are tipped to escape the drop (10/11 odds they will get relegated) as are Leeds and Southampton, with their relegation chances rate at 7/2 and 8/1, respectively.

Meanwhile, Leicester (2/5), Aston Villa (4/5) and Brighton (evens) are predicted to make up the top ten.
