Newcastle United are set to emerge as Premier League contenders in the coming seasons after a seismic £305m takeover was rubber-stamped.
A consortium backed by the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund (PIF) struck up an agreement with now-former chairman Mike Ashley - resulting in new owners.
The green light was given in midweek and the news has sent shockwaves across the Premier League scene.
Some of that has come amid protests from human rights groups - as the Saudi-backed PIF is overseen by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman - while the agreement is expected to prove a game-changer on the pitch when the Magpies are finally able to flex that new-found financial muscle.
It almost certainly won't be enough for them this season, but from January onwards there is a new player or two in town when it comes to high-profile transfers.
But where does that leave Manchester City and Manchester United in their title charge this campaign?
According to the FiveThirtyEight supercomputer, Pep Guardiola and his star-studded City line-up are favourites to defend the trophy they have won three times in the last four seasons.
City are currently viewed as a 50 per cent shot to finish top of the class, while Liverpool (26%) and Chelsea (18%) follow way behind. United boast a 5% chance of winning a first Premier League crown since 2013 - according to that same data.
Those predictions are replicated when assessing top-four credentials, too.
City hold a 95%t likelihood in that regard, while Liverpool (87%) and Chelsea (81%) are backed to follow them into the main competition - and United (48%) should hold off challenges from Tottenham (14%), Everton (13%) and Arsenal (12%).
The supercomputer predicts that 84 points will be enough for City to reign supreme, once again.
Further down the standings, Newcastle headed into this international break without a win after seven matches - sitting 19th on three points.
Given that their hands are tied in the transfer market until January - at least - Steve Bruce will have to work with what he's got, unless new Saudi owners pull the plug there and seek out their own managerial appointment in the coming days and weeks.

The same FiveThirtyEight data as above expects Newcastle to stay in the division.
The Magpies are tipped to end the season in 17th, although it could prove a nervy finale with a similar predicted points tally (35) as Burnley and Watford - who the supercomputer expect to join Norwich City (29 points) in dropping to the Championship.
Newcastle have a 57 per cent chance of survival, but that should change when January rolls around.
FiveThirtyEight uses SPI ratings, which have an attacking and defensive component, to determine which team is going to win a specific game. This is then all built up to see how many points each side will accumulate for when the season ends.
