Supercomputer predicts final Premier League table - and there's movement in top four spots

Liverpool and Chelsea will qualify for the Champions League with Leicester City just missing out.

At least, that's what a supercomputer has predicted as we head into the final weekend of the Premier League season this Sunday, with everything still to play for among the trio.

As things stand Chelsea are third with 67 points from 37 games played.

Liverpool and Leicester meanwhile are fourth and fifth respectively on 66 points apiece.

Chelsea travel to Aston Villa on Sunday knowing a win will secure their fate regardless of results elsewhere.

Liverpool also have their fate in their hands, to some extent, and will more than likely qualify for the Champions League should they beat Crystal Palace at Anfield.

Leicester City, who play Tottenham on the final day of the campaign, have an inferior goal difference to Liverpool.

This means that should Liverpool win, the Foxes not only have to beat Spurs, but they must also overcome a four-goal deficit in the process.

A supercomputer, courtesy of footballwebpages, has predicted the final Premier League table - and it believes there will be some movement at the top.

The computer has predicted that Leicester will draw their final match with Spurs, seeing them finish fifth on 67 points.

Liverpool, meanwhile, will apparently beat Crystal Palace and leapfrog Chelsea, who will allegedly draw with Villa.

In this scenario, the Foxes will miss out on Champions League football next season with Chelsea and Liverpool joining Manchester City and Man United in Europe.
