The 2020-21 season included an impressive arrival from Thomas Tuchel after taking over at Chelsea.
The German took over from Frank Lampard and guided the Blues to the finals of the FA Cup and Champions League, winning the latter in Porto.
But there is no doubt that Tuchel, as well as the powers that be at Stamford Bridge, will be hungry for further success this season, that much was made clear with the £97 million signing of Romelu Lukaku.
For all their qualities last year, finishing chances was an obvious weakness for Chelsea and the Belgian has been brought back in to solve that particular problem.
After taking home the biggest prize in Europe last season, then, the Premier League title will be top of the agenda for the club this time around.
Things are going rather well as it stands too.
With seven matches played, Chelsea sit top of the Premier League table, a 3-1 victory against Southampton sending them there before the international break.
However, it looks set to be an incredibly tight title race.
Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United will all have hopes of lifting the domestic title themselves, and each sit within two points of Tuchel's troops.
So how will it end?
Well according to a new simulation generated by FootballWebPages and their supercomputer, Chelsea will claim their seventh top-flight title in May.
After 38 games, they predict that the Blues will be sitting pretty on a whopping 99 points, a full 10 points clear of runners-up Liverpool.
Manchester City are joined by the shock presence of Brentford in the top-four while Arsenal and Tottenham are both predicted to be bitterly disappointed, finishing 12th and 13th respectively.
If this premonition becomes reality, there will be plenty of ecstatic Chelsea fans around.
