Supercomputer predicts Champions League 2019/20 winner ahead of group stage draw

Liverpool fans will be dreaming of retaining the Champions League this season after their incredible performance last term.

Jurgen Klopp's side became champions of Europe for a sixth time in June thanks to a 2-0 win over Tottenham in Madrid.

The Reds have made it to the final in the last two seasons, losing to Real Madrid in 2018.

But according to this Supercomputer, the Reds are facing an early exit in the quarter-finals this time around.

BT Sport's The Script has predicted how this season's competition will play out ahead of Thursday's group stage draw.

Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City are all predicted to reach the knockout stages with the Premier League champions falling to Real Madrid over two legs.

Chelsea edge out Borussia Dortmund while Liverpool ease past Red Bull Salzburg.

But in the last eight, Barcelona are tipped to get their revenge after last season's Anfield drubbing with Lionel Messi scoring in each leg.

Chelsea also face a quarter-final exit to Zinedine Zidane's Real Madrid, with Eden Hazard shining.

That sets up an El Clasico semi-final with Real skipper Sergio Ramos scoring at the Nou Camp against Barca.

Real progress to yet another final and their 3-2 victory over Bayern Munich secures La Decimocuarta - a 14th triumph.

The success in Istanbul sees Zidane become the most successful manager in European Cup history, trumping Carlo Ancelotti and Bob Paisley.
