Supercomputer predicts Arsenal vs Chelsea Europa League final result

Chelsea and Arsenal clash in Baku this evening with the Europa League trophy on the line, as the two London rivals look to end their season on a high.

The Blues have been stable in Europe this campaign despite turbulence off the field and they travel to Baku yet to taste defeat on the continent this season.

Arsenal , meanwhile, have suffered defeats against BATE Borisov and Stade Rennes, while they have never beaten another English side in a UEFA sanctioned competition - losing their last three,

That leaves the odds seemingly stacked against Arsenal and that view is confirmed by SportNation.Bet’s supercomputer, with Chelsea tipped as 55% likely to beat the Gunners to the post.

Maurizio Sarri’s side are 45% likely to win the tie within 90 minutes, while the two sides are both deemed as 8% likely to emerge victorious on penalties if the game goes the full distance.

Ex-Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud has been in electric form in the Europa League this season, netting 10 goals, and has a 15% chance of scoring the opening goal, while he is tipped as 38% likely to score anytime.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, fresh from his hat-trick against Valencia in the semi-final, is 20% likely to open the scoring as is a whopping 45% likely to be on the score sheet in Baku.

A red card is seen as 30% likely to be shown, with Chelsea seeing three dismissals in their last eight outings.
