The Championship run-in analysed by data - where Bristol City, Leeds United, Aston Villa, and Middlesbrough end up

Bristol City are back on form thanks to impressive wins over Sheffield United and Middlesbrough.

The Robins have returned to the Championship play-off places thanks to the back-to-back victories, as they currently sit fifth, two points above seventh-placed Derby County.

Yet will they be there at the end of the season?

Football Web Pages' supercomputer seems to think so.

It has predicted the Robins to finish fifth in the table, setting up a two-legged play-off semi-final against fourth-placed West Brom.

The Robins are predicted to finish in the play-offs by just two points, ahead of Middlesbrough in seventh.

The alternative Championship table that has Leeds United top, Aston Villa second and Nottingham Forest third

Boro finish level on points with sixth-placed Aston Villa, but miss out on the play-offs courtesy of a worse goal difference.

Leeds United are predicted to win promotion, finishing ahead of third-placed Sheffield United by four points.
