Supercomputer backs Liverpool to come out on top in this weekend's Champions League final

Liverpool are the overriding favourites in many peoples eyes to come out on top in this weekend's Champions League final against Spurs.

The Reds come into the showdown on the back of a record breaking Premier League campaign, with Jurgen Klopp's side being pipped to the title on the final day of the season by Manchester City.

While Klopp's side will also be out to avenge their defeat to Real Madrid in last season's final in Kiev, with two mistakes from Loris Karius proving costly for the Reds.

And, according to SportNation.Bet's latest Supercomputer prediction, Klopp's men are being heavily backed to come out on top in Madrid on Saturday night.

According to the figures released, the Reds have a 65 per cent of winning the game, with Liverpool star Mo Salah also being backed to once again deliver for his side.

The Egyptian is predicted of having a 40 per cent chance of scoring at any at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, a 10 per cent increase from rival Harry Kane's predicted chances.

Liverpool have a 55 per cent chance of winning the game in normal time, a 10 per cent chance of the winning the tie in extra-time, while both sides are tied on eight per cent when it comes to who will come out on top if the final is decided by the dreaded penalty shootout.

A SportNation.Bet spokesman: "The Supercomputer heavily favours Liverpool in the Champions League final, with the calculations indicating the Reds will finally have something to show for their record-breaking season."

"The algorithm is well aware of Liverpool's head to head record against Spurs but the Reds' famous European pedigree must be a factor too, meaning Klopp looks destined to get his hands on silverware for the first time in his Kop reign."
