'Super spirited' bidding before strong result on Bridges Road

POPULAR: This three-bedroom house on New Lambton's busy Bridges Road was secured under the hammer for $731,000.

First National Newcastle City's Mathew Iuliano described bidding as "super spirited" for a three-bedroom home that had been "lightly updated and presented well" at 157 Bridges Road in New Lambton last Saturday.

The property went to auction with a guide of $640,000 to $680,000 and attracted eight registered bidders before selling under the hammer for $731,000.
