Super Netball officials are hopeful they will still be able to complete the 2021 season in Queensland despite a COVID-19 outbreak in the state's south-east.
The Queensland government placed the greater Brisbane area as well as the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast into lockdown for three days on Saturday, after six new community cases in the past 24 hours.
After relocating the entire competition to Queensland to finish the season when coronavirus cases spiked in NSW, South Australia and Victoria, Super Netball officials are hopeful they will be able to play out the reminder of the regular season in Queensland when the lockdown ends.
"Our teams have moved several times this year and we want to provide them with stability as the competition reaches the final rounds," Netball Australia chief executive Kelly Ryan said.
"We feel we have flexibility in our fixture to make adjustments to play out the season."
There are seven matches remaining in the home and away season, which were scheduled to be played on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and next Saturday.
An update on the fixture will be provided in due course.
