Jorge Masvidal is releasing a vlog series to give an inside look at his road to UFC 244, titled “The Diary Of A Street Fighter.”
Masvidal (34-11 MMA, 11-6 UFC) takes on Nate Diaz (20-11 MMA, 15-9 UFC) in the main event of UFC 244 on Nov. 2 at New York’s Madison Square Garden for the one-and-done “BMF” title and will be giving fans an all access look at his journey, media appearances and training camp ahead of his fight.
In the first episode, which premiered Tuesday, Masvidal is seen hitting pads with his longtime striking coach, Paulino Hernandez, as well as taking part in a recent appearance on “The Dan Le Batard Show.”
“Gamebred” has risen to superstardom this year, after back-to-back knockouts over Darren Till and Ben Askren. He revealed that he will be getting pay-per-view points for his upcoming headliner vs. Diaz, and that “heads are going to pop” once people find out how much he’s going to make for this fight.
The two took part in a press conference in New York this past Thursday, showing each other the mutual respect that was largely expected.
