Croatia has reached a first-ever World Cup final at England's expense, setting up a clash with France after triumphing 2-1 in extra time.
England opened the scoring in stunning fashion when right-back Kieran Trippier curled in a gorgeous free-kick in the fifth minute.
For much of the match, England looked in command, but Croatia found another gear midway through the second half, and levelled through an excellent Ivan Perisic finish.
Croatia's moment of glory would come in extra time, when Mario Mandzukic smashed home from Perisic's nodded assist in the 110th minute.
More to come.
