Super League fans deliver verdict on favourite away ground ahead of crowds returning

Hull will be the place to be in Super League once crowds are given the green light to return to stadiums.

That is according to a Rugby League Live poll of supporters who were asked to pick the one away day they are most looking forward to.

Craven Park will undergo a makeover this summer as the club prepares to turn the southern end of the ground into a matchday fan zone.

That may well have been fresh in the minds of supporters as they responded to the poll, with 29 per cent of voters particularly excited about their next visit to Hull KR.

Many more fans are looking forward to a potential trip across the M62 and A63 from June.

Nineteen per cent of respondents picked Hull FC’s KCOM Stadium as the away day they are most excited about.

Castleford Tigers’ traditional Wheldon Road ground came next with 17 per cent of the votes, followed by Leeds Rhinos’ revamped Headingley Stadium (13 per cent).

Six per cent of fans went for another famous old ground in Wakefield Trinity’s Mobile Rocket Stadium, while Warrington Wolves and Wigan Warriors each received four per cent of the votes.

St Helens and Leigh Centurions were next with three per cent apiece, with Huddersfield Giants and Salford Red Devils each selected by one per cent of voters.

Catalans Dragons were not included in the poll due to the uncertainty around international travel.
