Did you lose your dog in South Dublin yesterday? If so you might want to check social media because he's currently having the time of his life chilling with gardai.
A lovely German Sheppard has broken out of his home for a run around the beach and has since mate mades with a load of gardai who don't look like they want him to leave the station.
The "super friendly" dog was found on Strand Road in Sandymount and is currently with Gardai in Irishtown.
Unfortunately for those officers they won't be able to keep him forever and have sent out an appeal for the owner to come forward.

They tweeted: "Gardaí rescued this German Sheppard dog running along Strand Rd in Sandymount this evening. No Microchip. He is wearing a brown leather collar. Super friendly boy and like a big bear. "Please collect him in Irishtown Garda Station."
