While the name CFR Cluj may not ring any bells with Chelsea fans, their manager will be a familiar name. Dan Petrescu played 188 games for the Blues, scoring 21 goals between the years of 1996 and 2000. The Romanian also became the first ever Chelsea player to score for his country at the World Cup.

The full-back was a popular figure at Stamford Bridge. He went onto play for Bradford City and Southampton before retiring from playing in 2003.

Petrescu has since made his way into management, taking charge at a number of different clubs in a number of different countries. He is currently in his second spell in charge of Cluj after being appointed in March.
