Lowland League club East Kilbride have been backed by New England Patriots star Rob Ninkovich.
The two-time Super Bowl winning linebacker has been pictured wearing a scarf from the K-Park club.
And the club hope Ninkovich will help to increase their exposure and gain new supporters in the USA.
Social media manager Robert Steven was delighted to see the photograph, and says it's just another example of Kilby's growing support around the world.
Robert said: There are a few famous people who are showing support to East Kilbride, but a New England Patriots linebacker is a massive one.
"His two rings probably cost more than my life!
"Our owners holiday in America yearly - obviously not just now - and they've met up with ex-pats who live in Atlantra, and they're friends with Rob.
"They've met up, got chatting about East Killbride, about what they're looking to do, how ambitious they are and things like that.
"From then on the two guys watch the highlights quite often and they're buzzing that we'll hopefully be getting live streaming soon.
"Rob has been asking, because he's into soccer as well, so he's following East Kilbride along with them.
"He's been given a scarf and has one of our strips as well, so it's pretty special.
"For anybody who knows American football, this is pretty massive. Patriots are very popular, so to have one of those guys involved is great."
Robert added: "Hopefully it gives us a bit more exposure across the pond.
"Ajax got us some exposure in Holland, there are people from East Kilbride all over the world - we have fans in Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Holland, Germany, we're inundated with people wanting to buy strips and scarves and everything from all around the world."
