Super Bowl 52 sets total yards record in less than three quarters

Offense has ruled Super Bowl 52.

There has been over 955 total yards of offense in the game, a Super Bowl record. That includes 404 passing yards by Tom Brady through three full quarters of action. Eagles quarterback Nick Foles has thrown for over 300 yards. Both quarterbacks have thrown two touchdown passes.

The previous record was 929 yards between the Washington Redskins and Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 22 (1988). Brady's 457 yards passing is nine yards from his Super Bowl record set a year ago, which included overtime.

The Eagles lead the Patriots 32-26 early in the fourth quarter.
